The Suites – sunrise, sunset…

Our two suites occupy what was once the owners bungalow

Staff at the Pelican Post refer to the suites as ‘The Sunrise Suite’ and ‘The Sunset Suite’. The Sunrise Suite (suite #2) faces east and ‘The Sunset Suite’ (suite #1) faces west and has central air.

Suite #1 (sunset) sleeps 4/5 comfortably and the layout offers the most privacy for for groups or families where the travellers are a little older (or more modest), as the bathroom is on a tiny central corridor and separates the two sleeping areas. The central area is a good size with a king size bed and a mini lounge complete with two sofas, TV etc. The kitchenette is next with a full stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a small table & chairs. Then, its on to the bathroom, then the little corridor, leading to a separate bedroom with a double and a single bed (and another TV).

Suite #2 (sunrise), sleeps 4 comfortably and is a little smaller than suite #1. This suite is perfect for families or maybe couples who want a little more space. The central area has a king size bed and lounge area with a recliner, sofa, TV etc and a small dining table. The kitchenette has been modernised recently and is close by with a full ceramic top stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. The bathroom is in the corner. There is also a completely separate bedroom with two double beds.

Suite # 1 opens into the garden area and has little deck right outside the front door, grab a book and enjoy the sunshine! Suite # 2 does not have a deck, however it is on the corner (the quiet area of the Motel) and has plenty of space right outside for your boat.

Our suites start in the low season at $140.00 per night plus taxes and as low as $99.30 a night plus taxes, when staying a week or more. This cost includes the first four guests.

At the Pelican Post your room rate includes everything except the taxes. There will be no hidden fees and no add-on’s.

NOTE: It should be remembered that the suite cost as published is for a maximum of four persons only. We may allow a chlid (under 10 years) travelling with four adults to stay without further charge. However, additional persons of any age will incur an extra charge of $15.00 per person, plus taxes per night.
